LOS ANGELES -- Charlie Sheen was looking Saturday to sell a tell-all book to publishers, with a starting price of $10 million, according to TMZ.

Sheen told the gossip website that the book, still being written, would lay bare his life behind the scenes of hit TV show "Two and a Half Men" -- and what led up to producers shutting it down after eight years.

The troubled star even has a working title for the book, "When the Laughter Stopped," and expects publishers to start the bidding at $10 million.

CBS and Warner Bros. canceled the rest of this season's production Thursday after the actor publicly criticized its creator, Chuck Lorre.

Sheen was watching the fallout from the implosion from the Bahamas, where he is currently on vacation with young female companions. He is still contracted to CBS for next year, reportedly for $1.2 million per episode of the sitcom.
